We were appointed by the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington as restaurant kitchen designers for the kitchen and bar for this new authentic Chinese Restaurant.


Min Jiang is positioned on the tenth floor of the Royal Garden Hotel, with breathtaking views across Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park; it is sister restaurant to Min Jiang at the Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore.


To deliver the authentic Chinese menu, the key specialist equipment selected was a Chinese premium heavy duty brand.  This required the team to arrange for each item of equipment to undergo a dedicated CE Certification process to permit its installation in Europe.  With Beijing duck being a speciality of the restaurant, the kitchen included a wood burning duck oven and humidity controlled duck blower and hanging unit, in addition to the other traditional Chinese cooking equipment.
